Summer ResidenceIn a shared furnished apartment or townhouse, you will have a private bedroom and share the kitchen, lounge and bathroom with 3 to 5 other residents. Each bedroom has a bed, pillow and a desk with a lamp. Bring your own bed linens. Residence beds require extra-long twin sheets. Twin XL sheets are 39" x 80" (fitted) and 66" x 96" (flat). You may do your own cooking (please bring your own cooking utensils as these are not supplied), or purchase meals at one of the many food service outlets on campus or restaurants in the University Village. As summer residences are occupied year-round, you will find yourself assigned to an apartment or townhouse where one or more of your roommates have been living for several weeks, months or years. Whereas bedrooms are cleaned prior to you moving in, the shared common areas will reflect the housekeeping standards and practices of the roommate(s) already residing there. Housekeeping services are not provided. It is the responsibility of residents to keep the unit's common areas clean. On your application, please indicate your preference for room size and co-ed or single-gender housing. |
