Various cleaning duties including re-making rooms for conferences guests, cleaning suites that are turning over to new residents, grounds keeping, replenishing supplies and other related duties in keeping with the requirements of the job. Hours may vary depending on business demands, but are normally a 7.5 hour shift over a seven day a week rotating schedule. Full time hours are not guaranteed.

Job Summary:

To participate as member of mobile Housekeeping Unit and working from oral and written instructions and according to procedures. Duties include: cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, damp mopping, vacuuming, cleaning all surfaces of wall, floors, glass, stairwells, shower stalls, bath tubs, sinks, counter tops, cupboards, toilets, urinals, fridges, stoves, appliances, vent exteriors, furniture and carpets; replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, toweling and linen; collecting and removing waste; rearranging furnishings; making and remaking beds; assisting in putting up notices; reporting maintenance requirements to supervisor; and performing other related duties.

Qualifications:

Must be physically fit with a good comprehension of oral and written English. One year experience performing cleaning duties in an institutional setting or in Hotel industry an asset. Ability to work various shifts. Ability to work weekends.
