Each year we receive more applications to move into residence for September than we have rooms.
Applicants who do not receive an assignment offer are placed on the wait list and assigned a wait list number. This position number will change as applicants are removed from the wait list. You may check your position number at any time by visiting our online services and clicking on "Application Status".
While it is not possible to know how many students will cancel their winter session residence assignment, based on past experience we offer the following suggestions:
Offer of Residence
If you are offered a place in residence, we will email an offer with information you need to make an informed decision to accept or decline the offer of residence. Once we offer you a place, you will be given a specific time in which to accept or decline. Cancelling your residence application
Please advise Student Housing & Hospitality Services in writing, by e-mail or on-line if you no longer require to live in residence.
