If you're a first year student under 19 years of age the year you move into residence, you will typically be assigned a shared room or single room based on availability. Those 19 years or older or returning residents receive priority for single rooms. |

Priority for the studio, one and two-bedroom units is given to those 25 years and older, graduate students and those registered in early-starting or late-finishing professional programs. Children are not permitted to reside at Thunderbird Residence. |

Student Family Housing
Acadia Park (Student Family Housing) |

| Acadia Park is reserved for couples and for people with one or more dependant children 18 years of age or younger. Your children must reside with you in Acadia Park for a minimum of ten months of the year for you to be eligible. For each child, please submit copies of either a birth certificate or immigration papers or medical services documents with your application. And of course, one adult - parental or spousal - family member must meet the academic credit load requirement to live in residence. Demand for Acadia Park is high and your application will be be placed on a waiting list, which is based on the date we receive your application and the type of unit for which you are eligible (and prefer). Apply early for your best chance at a spot. Your application is valid for one year only, and can be renewed yearly. |
